Basic Self-Compassion for Helpers

This group aims to give helpers the skills and support they need as they support others. It offers a combination of mindfulness and cognitive behavior skills to help shape thoughts, feelings, and actions. It includes a strong emphasis on self-compassion to enable group members to access inner resources to approach their work with emotional stability, resiliency, and presence. Groups are led by a facilitator and are an opportunity for participants to learn from each other.
